We all would like to send huge thanks to Angela and her mum for showing us their incredible Birds of Prey.
Haberdashers House is a home housing 12 beautiful patients with brain injury, learning disability. Some of our patients have never been up close to any birds of this kind. Same goes to staff, they also have never been so close to any type of birds. Angela and her mum was so calm and patient with our patients. Angela has a natural gift when communicating with our patients. One of our patients was so frighten to touch the birds. In fact he was petrified when the birds came close. After 5 mins with Angela he began to stroke one of the birds. After 10 mins, he began hold one of the birds. Massive achievement for him. A member of staff has a phobia of birds. After todays session she faced her fears and was able to stroke the birds. She even held a bird for a photo! Amazing!!
All staff and patients thoroughly enjoyed our visit today.
Angela's kindness, patience and natural gift she has when working with these beautiful birds, and our patients, has made today an extra special one.
Thank you so much to Angela and Mum.
We have had Berkshire Birds of Prey and Oxford Castle and Prison twice now, and both times have been a great success.
The team has been absolutely fantastic at informing our guests and giving them a really positive experience. We have had lots of customers coming back and requesting further visits as they have had such an enjoyable time.
Thank you so much for visiting us!
We are really looking forward to the next one.
Such a memorable experience - we all had such a lovely time meeting the birds of prey. Very informative too and it was lovely to Margaret and James who have so much knowledge of these amazing birds. The owls were definitely my favourite ( and Kens too ).
Angela and here team where amazing when they came to visit the clients at Age Concern Bracknell Forest, most of our clients suffer from Dementia and they were so calm and patient with them, answering any questions they had about the birds they brought in.
The clients are still talking about the different owls which were brought in and that they got to hold and stroke them. some of our clients were slightly nervous, but Angela and her team were supportive.
We can't wait until they come back and see us again.
Beautiful people Beautiful Birds. It was a pleasure to see both and I held a beautiful bird and the guys and girls took a beautiful picture for me.
Thanks Sue
We had a great time learning about all the owls and getting up close with them. Angela and her team were so lovely sharing all the details with our audience that ranged from 12-88 years old.
My father-in-law, who's birthday we were celebrating, was really wowed and said one of the best presents he had ever had!!
Thank you for making it such a special day.
Our group had a wonderful morning with Angela and her team. The owls are beautiful and a joy to hold and gently touch. To see such amazing birds close up was a joy.
Angela and her team were absolutely amazing. Very professional, informative and very kind to the people who attended the group.
The guys in the group were all talking about it and a week later.

We always look forward to our visits from Angela and her team. Fantastic display of birds and the visit catered very well for our 2, 3 and 4 year olds. The team are able to adapt their teaching for the variety of ages. We use Berkshire Birds of Prey to finalise our teaching around nocturnal animals. Highly recommend!
We had a brilliant time at Oxford Castle, flying the birds and getting close up.
Really knowledgeable and friendly instructors!
Absolutely amazing experience, all the young adults delivering the session were friendly, very knowledgeable and informative. They shared really interesting facts about all the owls we were handling and were fantastic with my 2 boys. Staff were very helpful and we all enjoyed the experience.
Hi Angela,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for my daughter's birthday party on the 2nd! It was fantastic and everyone is still talking about it! I think it was your son that was running it, he was amazing!
A huge thank you to Angela and her amazing young team, for coming with her fantastic display of birds and interactive sessions to help us raise money for our PTA.
The knowledge your team had was second-to-none, so friendly and helpful.
You have helped us raise so much money for the children of our schools and provided a wonderful event for our community.
We hope to have you back very soon.
Thank you.
Lovely experience with Berkshire Birds of Prey.. loved meeting all the birds. Angela and the team are very knowledgeable and I wouldn't hesitate to contact again for another experience
Fabulous session for 24 Beavers. Enjoyed the session so much on 1st Sunningdale Camp that we wanted more! Catered well for all members of the group including those with special educational needs. Highly informative session and empowering Beavers to spread the conservation word. Angela and her team were very professional, knowledgeable and approachable.
Thank you.
Seeing, handling and flying the Berkshire Birds of Prey at Thomley is on the of the best events my son, his friends and I look forward to.
The team are so inclusive and ensures everybody can and does join in - I, myself, was very anxious the first time I saw them but now even have a favourite bird who I love flying and have really found my confidence and try to help the others get involved as they remember how scared I was to start with.
Looking forward to the next visit so much.
Thank you.
I would like to thank Angela and her amazing Team at Berkshire Birds of Prey.
They very kindly gave their time free to the members of or charity Alzheimer's Dementia Support. Our carers and people with dementia enjoyed a couple of hours of the birds flying around the hall at the Methodist Church in Maidenhead.
Angela delivered a very interesting talk. Our carers and people with dementia where able to handle the birds. Angela guided everyone when handling the birds. The faces of our gentlemen attending, holding and talking to the birds. They interacted with them and felt so relaxed while also being stimulated. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning.
From start to finish the team were fantastic and of course the birds were stars of the show!
The members loved hearing about all the birds and getting to hold them all! This is great therapy for our Senior members, it was a great talking point, and we heard stories from members about their experiences, it's been great for those with dementia and even our member that has lost his sight was really able to engage from touching the owls and listening to everyone. We had about 18 members today which is very high, it has definitely sparked everyone's interest. The members are left happy and jolly! A thoroughly enjoyable experience for all of us!
Thank you
On the evening of 8th March 2024, Berkshire Birds of Prey visited the 5th High Wycombe Scouts, delivering an unforgettable experience for the Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts.
The three sessions provided an educational yet entertaining insight into the world of birds of prey, leaving all three sections thoroughly captivated.
Stan, a 12-year-old Scout participant, expressed his delight, stating, "I thought it was really fun. My favourite part was learning how hawks can hunt deer. It was also great to hold the birds and watch them fly over me." Stan further shared, "My sister, who's now in the Cubs, wants one of her own; she was mesmerised by them." The interactive sessions not only imparted valuable knowledge about birds of prey but also ignited a newfound interest and appreciation among the Scouts, Cubs, and Beavers.
Berkshire Birds of Prey successfully made a lasting impact on the 5th High Wycombe Scouts during this engaging evening event.
We had 2 handlers. Forgive me but I have forgotten their names. The one gentleman in his 20s was very knowledgeable and was great at keeping the children quite and answering any questions.
He did have a falcon that he uses for pest control and while we were the guinea pigs for the maiden flight test, it was great to see a falcon in flight.
We were able to all fly the Barn and Tawny Owls along with the Harris hawk. The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed it.
The girls had an amazing experience. Angela and her team were so awesome especially with our nervous girls. It was absolutely brilliant experience. We especially enjoyed the handling.
We booked Berkshire Birds of Prey to come to our home in February for my Mums birthday as she is a huge owl fan. Angela and Seren were so nice, friendly and extremely informative and knowledgeable and we all had an immersive experience with many different birds which was amazing for our whole family and we all thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent with us.
I cannot recommend this experience highly enough it was fantastic and we will be building owl boxes to put on the side of our houses to help our wild owls have a dry place to rest to keep out of the rain.
An amazing experience year after year! A wonderful opportunity for the children to get so close and hold the owls. Angela is so patient with the kids especially the ones that are scared at the start. She explains things to the children at their level using colours and counting as well. It gives us a great chance to do a whole topic on owls after the visit. It increases all of the children's confidence and every year they talk about the visit for a long, long time after the owls have left. We look forward to next year!
Berkshire birds of prey is absolutely amazing all the people are absolutely amazing and very helpful. No judgement and always happy to help each other when needed .
I want to congratulate you on the most amazing evening and experience that you gave not only my beavers but the leaders too x completely phenomenal I have had parents feedback about how enthralled their children were when they went home I can't thank you enough and I give you 10 out of 5!!!! Thank you so so much
A fantastic session for the Brownies, who were able to learn about the different birds, handle them and watch them fly. Angela and her team ran the session with expertise and were verry professional. We really enjoyed the visit and will recommend them to other Girlguiding groups.
Many Thanks
Brown Owl, Barn Owl and Little Owl xxx
Here at Shienfield view Berkshire Birds of Prey were fantastic on their visit. They were very accommodating to our residents who have a range of medical conditions, not only did they put on a 'display' with some information about each bird you can observe the amount of attention given by the residents which is sometimes hard to achieve in a large group.
Thank you for your time today and we look forward to having you again soon.
Everyone has had a wonderful afternoon, staff, residents and families. Watching residents lost in dementia come alive when they see the birds is so heartening. Angela and her team have so much patience, and ensure everyone gets to hold, stroke and fly the birds. Everyone is so animated when Berkshire Birds of Prey visit and we couldn't be more grateful.

Seeing and holding the owls was lovely, and the ladies were great at explaining how and where they lived and carried on.
The event we attended was a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about all the birds at the event and could tell us not only interesting facts, but stories and individual personalities of the birds.
It was extremely calm, well organised and we felt very safe and supported by the birds of prey owner and her team. It really was a treat to meet the birds close up.
I can't recommend them enough, you won't be disappointed if you ever get an opportunity to meet Berkshire Birds of Prey.
We always love our visits at our holiday camps! Great value for money and the children learn so much.
Thank you BBOP
The Berkshire Birds of Prey are always a welcome sight here at our Care Home. The residents love the interaction with the birds and it is amazing how their moods are lifted and socially it is very good for them.
The handlers are very knowledgeable about the birds and answer any questions about the birds that our residents ask, they are also very patient with them.
We book them twice a year at a request from our residents.
Wonderful team who provide such a fun and unique experience to all our visitors. The team and the birds bring big smiles to our visitors faces on each visit. Visitors leave with a new found love and appreciation for these amazing birds of prey.
Really helped me through school and helped me to find my voice more
It was just brilliant, an amazing experience to be so involved with these gorgeous birds and to learn so much about them. A friendly family run business who are very knowledgeable, love and care for their birds and made sure we all got the best from the time spent getting to know both the owls and the birds of prey.
Thank you so very much for an experience I will remember for always.
I've been volunteering with Berkshire Birds of Prey for 9 months and I can honestly say that it has been lifechanging. Every event that I attend, I see how hard they work to involve everybody in handling and flying the birds. Angela professionally and empathetically works with people of all ages and I've seen first-hand how she and the birds bring joy to everyone, whether in care homes or in schools.
She also works closely with the volunteers to overcome their individual challenges, creating the Berkshire Birds of Prey family which is a safe places for all of the volunteers to talk and be listened to. I have personally struggles with social anxiety and would find it difficult to even pay for food at a shop counter. After working with Angela and Berkshire Birds of Prey for just a short amount of time, I found myself with a huge amount more confidence.
I now chat to my local shopkeeper every time I see him and have even been to a heavy metal concert in London with a friend! Berkshire Birds of Prey bring so much fun and laughter to every event and I cannot imagine where I would be without them.
Wow Wow Wow - What an amazing day was had by all my customers here at Westmead.
Angela and her very professional team were amazing throughout.
My customers have physical disabilities but Angela and all the staff ensured that everyone of them had time to hold some of the birds.
Lots of interesting facts were learned and we would love all of you to come back again. I would highly recommend everyone to have a visit from Berkshire Birds of Prey.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you for an amazing session with the cubs - they were spell bound. We got to fly and touch so many birds - even the more timid cubs were happy with the birds by the end. We also learnt lots too. We are looking forward to seeing the birds again and are glad our bird boxes are going to be useful.
What a wonderful experience for our young children (Nursery and Reception). We learnt lots of interesting facts about the amazing selection of birds. Every child had the opportunity to stroke or hold an owl. They were encouraged to be brave! This inspired them to draw, paint and colour owls once back in the classroom. They also hovered and flew like the birds they had seen.
Thank you.
